million dollar NSS/OSS network elements for THURAYA Primary Gateway as
NSS Procurement Leader. Led the project management activities for all NSS/OSS
elements – MSC/VLR, HLR/AuC, EIR, OMC-S & SMSC with the sub-contractor
(Ericsson). Ensured compliance to the design specifications and managed
design/development and reviews (PDR/CDR). Managed NSS FAT and integration
with Hughes Ground Segment hardware/software, including Data/Fax.
Managed and
conducted weekly/monthly/quarterly progress updates and project reviews with
Hughes, Ericsson and Thuraya design teams. Provided advice/support/solutions
for such technical issues as network configuration, GPS based region
handling, numbering/routing, billing, legal interception, VMS, SMS and IN

primary interface with Pakistan Telecom Authority – Regulator, Pakistan

necessary permissions and leasing (domestic/Int'l) circuits/interconnects.
Coordinated planning, implementation and commissioning of telecom networks
with multi-national contractors like Hughes, Ericsson, Siemens, Nortel and
Qualcomm.
Assisted in
network planning and implementation including infra-structure support
(sites, layout, network & user premises equipment), delivery and
installation of different network elements for PDSL’s full featured Data
network, offering Data, E-Mail, Internet (PPP/ SLIP), Store & Forward
